O’DONOVAN, Fr. DAN (Tooreen, Kilcrohane, Cork and Ballinasloe, Galway): On April 28th 2017, at University Hospital Galway, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Fr Dan beloved brother of Noel, Mary (Coughlan), Nuala, Timmy, Jimmy and the late Josie (Dempsey) and son of the late Bridie and Timothy of Tooreen, Kilcrohane. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken family, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, Bishop John Kirby and his fellow priests of the Clonfert Diocese, all his friends in St. Joseph’s College, Garbally , parishioners in Ballinasloe/ Creagh, and all his relatives, his neighbours and friends in West Cork.

Reposing at Garbally College, Ballinasloe on Sunday, April 30th, from 2pm to 6pm. Arriving at St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, May 1st, at 11 am, returning to West Cork afterwards. Reposing at Coakley’s Funeral Home, Bantry on Tuesday, May 2nd, from 4 to 7pm followed by removal to Star of the Sea Church, Kilcrohane. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, May 3rd, at 2pm, burial afterwards in Kilcrohane Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to ICU, University Hospital Galway or St. Vincent de Paul, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway.
