The death has occurred of
Fr. Denis O'Mahony
Fr Denis died peacefully on Tuesday 31st March 2026, in Cork University Hospital.
Pre-deceased by his parents Timothy and Nora, his brothers John and Paddy, his sister Jane (Browne) and brother-in-law Tom.
Deeply regretted by his sister-in-law Nora, his nephews John, Tim and Sean, his nieces Julette O’Riordan and Cora, grand-nephews and grand-niece, Bishop Most Rev. Stephen Wright, his brother priests, parishioners of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle, his relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reception with prayers on Saturday at 3.00pm in St. John the Baptist Church, Ballinagree (P12 YX08), reposing until 4.00pm.
Requiem Mass on Bank Holiday Monday at 12.00 Noon which can be viewed on https://sites.google.com/view/life-is-a-river/home with burial afterwards in St. Colman’s Cemetery. Macroom.
