The death has occurred of
Fr. Desmond (Des) O'Donnell O.M.I
O’Donnell, Fr. Desmond (Des) O.M.I (Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, Australia, Rome, Crewe and Dublin) December 8th, 2023, peacefully at the House of Retreat, Inchicore.
Pre-deceased by his parents Seamus and Susan O’Donnell, his brothers Jim and PJ, his sister-in-law Celine. Sadly, missed by his loving sister Josephine (McConville) brother-in-law Kevin, his nieces and nephews, Maeve, Helen, Kieran, John, Ann, Nuala and Lynn and their families, grandnieces, grandnephews, his good friend Evin, his Oblates Community, extended family, and friends.
May he Rest in Peace.
Removal on Sunday evening (December 10th) to the Oratory Chapel, House of Retreat, Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore, arriving at 5 o’clock. Funeral Mass on Tuesday (December 12th) at 11.30 o'clock in Church of Mary Immaculate (Oblates) Inchicore followed by burial to the Community Cemetery.
