The death has occurred of
Fr Donal Doyle SJ
Fr Donal Doyle SJ. Late of Tokyo and formerly of Ireland, Fr Donal Doyle SJ died peacefully in Japan, his home and mission for over 60 years. A much-loved Jesuit priest, pastor, and lecturer at Sophia University, he touched many lives with his kindness, intellect, and profound faith.
Predeceased by his sisters Deirdre and Clodagh and his brother Frank. Dearly missed by his nephews Harry, Paul, Michael and Philip, extended family, fellow Jesuits, and countless friends in both Japan and Ireland.
May he rest in peace.
The funeral service will be held at St Ignatius Church in Tokyo at 8am Irish time on Tuesday 13th May
