The death has occurred of
Fr Finian (James) MONAHAN O.C.D.
Former Superior General of The Discalced Carmelites. Deeply regretted by his first cousin Margaret Broder, cousins, relatives and friends. Mourned by his Community and all his Carmelite Brothers and Sisters.
Funeral Cortege arriving at The Abbey tomorrow, Monday morning, at 9.30am, to be received by Bishop John Kirby. Fr Finian's remains will repose in The Abbey on Monday and Tuesday. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
No flowers, by request. Donations, if so desired, to The Carmelite Nigerian Mission.
