Fr Flor McCarthy SDB

Fr Flor SDB,(Salesian House,45 St Teresa's Road,Crumlin,Dublin 12 ,D12XK52 and formerly of Ovane,Mangerton,Kilgarvan,Co.Kerry) passed away peacefully,in the exceptional care of the staff of the Palliative In-patients Unit,University Hospital Kerry.Predeceased by his brothers Danny (New York),Johnny& Patsy (Mangerton),his sister Sr Fatima CCVI (Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word,Texas).Sadly missed by his Salesian Community throughout the world,but particularly by his Salesian Community in Crumlin,his sister Peggy,his nephews Denis & Murt (Kilgarvan),John & Dan (USA),his nieces Anne (Kenny,Ballymacelligott),Margaret (Galway),Ann (USA),grandnephews,grandnieces,extended family,clergy & parishioners of St Stephen's Parish,Warwick,New York and clergy & parishioners of Porterstown Parish,Dublin,his neighbours and his many many good friends.

In accordance with government and HSE guidelines,and in the interest of public health,a private family funeral will take place for Fr Flor.Requiem Mass on Friday January 22nd at 12 noon,in Saint Patrick's Church,Kilgarvan V93PF88 will be live streamed on Kilgarvan parish facebook page.Burial afterwards in the local cemetery,Kilgarvan.Family flowers only.Donations in lieu,to the Palliative In-patients Unit,University Hospital Kerry,c/o Quill's Funeral Home.
