Fr. Francis Desmond (Des) Dooley

Fr. Francis Desmond (Des) Dooley, May 12th, 2023, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Our Lady’s Manor Nursing Home, Fr. Des, following a life of selfless service. Pre-deceased by his mother Brigid, father John, brothers Noel, Michael and Brian. He will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and wider family. He will also be greatly missed by his close friends, former parishioners and fellow priests.

Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Blackrock on Tuesday 16th May from 5pm to 7pm, with prayers at 6.45pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10am in St. John the Baptist Church, Blackrock, followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery. To view Funeral Mass please click here.
