The death has occurred of Fr. Gerard (Gerry) Byrne, Chaplain Blackrock Clinic (peacefully), at his family home Balbriggan, on Tuesday May 26th after a bravely borne illness. Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Breda, Mary and Jane (twin), nephews Garrett and Niall, nieces Margarete and Mary Jane, grandnieces Sarah and Noelle, grandnephews Dillon and Tadhg, brother-in-law Michael, extended family, colleagues at Blackrock Clinic, Bishops and Priests of the Dublin Archdiocese, Eamonn, Ned and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing privately. Due to current government guidelines a private removal will take place on Thursday evening to S.S. Peter and Paul's Church, Balbriggan, arriving at 6.15pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11am for immediate family only, followed by burial in S.S. Peter and Paul's Cemetery. Available to view from the following link
