The death has occurred of
Fr. Gus HURLEY
HURLEY. Rev Fr. Denis Augustine (Fr. Gus), Teadies Lower, Enniskeane, Co. Cork and Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, Scotland. On 3rd August, 2021, peacefully, at his home in Teadies Lower, Enniskeane, in the presence of his family. Fr. Gus predeceased by his parents William and Hanora. Deeply regretted by his brother Declan, sister-in-law Philomena (née O’Sullivan), nephews Ger, Richard, Declan, Gus and John, nieces Helen Holland, Phil Healy, Rosalie Collins and Gill O'Sullivan, grandnephews and grandnieces and extended family. Mourned by Monsignor Bradley, his fellow clergy and parishioners of Bishopbriggs and formerly Kirkintilloch. He will be sadly missed by his neighbours and many friends in Glasgow, especially dear friends Jacqueline, Ian and Jenna Steel, Paul and Catherine Sheppard and their families.

HOUSE STRICTLY PRIVATE in accordance with current public health guidelines.
Fr Gus's funeral will leave his home at Teadies Lower on Friday at 11.30am to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Enniskeane, for a private family Requiem Mass at 12 noon which will be live-streamed on the Enniskeane Parish Facebook page www.facebook.com/enniskeane.
