The death has occurred of
Fr. James McAteer I.C.
McAteer I.C. (Rosminians), Fr. James (late of Annaverna, Ravensdale, Dundalk, St. Teresa’s Parish, Diocese of St. Petersburg, Florida, and latterly Dublin) – 13th July, 2025 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff of Nazareth House Nursing Home, Dublin.
Predeceased by his parents Bernard and Rose, his brother Harry and nephew Martin. He is deeply mourned by his sisters Mary Begley and Kathleen McFadden, sister-in-law Catherine, his Rosminian Confreres, nieces, nephews and his extended family.
Fr. Jimmy’s Funeral Mass will be concelebrated at 12noon in the Church of St. Mary, Ravensdale, Dundalk, on Wednesday (16th July) with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
