The death has occurred of
Fr. Joe Spillane
SPILLANE, Fr Joe (St Patrick’s Missionary Society, Kiltegan, Co Wicklow and formerly of Guileen, Co Cork; Ogoja Diocese, Nigeria; Kealkill & Ballydehob, Diocese of Cork and Ross), February 1st 2018, peacefully in the Care Unit at St Patrick’s, Kiltegan; predeceased by his sisters Rita (Geeleher), Phil (Nolan) and Rose (Murray) and by his brother Richard. Sadly missed by his nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces and great-grandniece; his cousins, relatives, Society family, Bishop John Buckley of Cork and Ross and his former parishioners.
Reposing at St Patrick’s, Kiltegan, on Saturday, the 3rd with removal to St Patrick’s Chapel at 5.30 o’clock. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 12 noon followed by burial in the Society Cemetery.
