The death has occurred of
Fr. John Carey
CAREY, Fr John, formerly of Oldtown, Co. Dublin and Leitrim, Kilmihil, Co. Clare and son of the late Thomas and Margaret. Peacefully, after a long illness under the wonderful and dedicated care of Sr Rose and her staff at Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Sybil Hill, Raheny.
Predeceased by his sisters, Maureen (Sr Veronica, fcj) and Eileen Carey and his brother-in-law, Vincent Lernihan. Sadly missed by his siblings, Anne (Lernihan), Patrick, Maeve, Michael and Teresa, his sisters-in-law, Mary and Ann, his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Sybil Hill today, Tuesday, 3rd October, from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.
Requiem Mass on Thursday, 5th October, at 11.00am in St Michael’s Church, Kilmihil, Co. Clare followed by interment in Leitrim Cemetery.
