The death has occurred of
FR. JOHN COTTER
Cotter (Crowhill, Upton and late of Caherkirkey) On February 2nd 2017, peacefully at Beaumont Residential Care, Fr. John, Retired Parish Priest of St. Patrick’s Parish, son of the late William and Anne, brother of Dolly, Nora (Griffin), Peggy (Keeling), Willie, Breda (Lamb), Anna (O’Riordan), Richard and the late Sylvester. Deeply regretted by his loving family, Bishop Buckley, fellow Priests, parishioners, nephews, nieces and a large circle of Friends.
Reposing in St. Patricks Church, Lower Road Saturday (4th) from 4.00pm until Mass at 6.00pm. Removal afterwards to St. Patrick’s Church, Knockavilla arriving at approximately 8.00pm. Concelebrated Requiem Mass on Monday (6th) at 12.00noon, funeral afterwards to Local Cemetery.
