The death has occurred of
Fr. Joseph (Joe) Kennedy
Fr. Joseph (Joe) Kennedy. Late of Clough, Rathkeale, Co. Limerick. July 10th 2024, peacefully surrounded by his family at University Hospital Limerick. Formerly of St Munchins College, Limerick, Abbeyfeale, Ardpatrick, Croom/Banogue, Adare & District Nursing Home. Son of the late Joseph and Mary. Brother of the late Johnny, Paddy and Francis. Sisters Nellie (Hannan), Ann (Bobby) Davoren and Mary Burke. Deeply regretted by nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, sister in law Joan, cousins, Bishop Brendan Leahy and Bishop Donal Murray Emeritus, the clergy of Limerick Diocese and a large circle of family and great friends.
May Joe rest in peace.
Reposing this Thursday evening in St. John the Baptist Church, Croagh from 6pm, with evening prayers at 7:30pm. Concelebrated requiem mass Friday at 12 noon with burial immediately afterwards in Nantenan Cemetery.
