Fr. Joseph Rooney SM
Rooney SM - Fr. Joseph – 19 Sept. 2022 - Dublin. 89 years.
Late of Nazareth House, Malahide Road, and the Marist Fathers, Coolock. Peacefully in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, under the loving care of the staff of St. Anne’s ward. Deeply regretted by his brother Padraig, sisters Maeve, Anna and Finola, sister-in-law Marie, brother-in-law Sean, nephews, nieces, his many Marist confreres, extended family and friends.
Fr. Joseph has donated his body to Medical Research. A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday 24th September in St. Brendan’s Church, Coolock at 11.00 am.
