Cummins, Fr Kevin - December 12th 2024 (suddenly) at home.

Fr. Kevin Cummins will be sadly missed by his family, friends, fellow clergy & parishioners.

May he rest in peace.

Arriving at St. Oswald Church, 59 High Street, Wrekenton, Gateshead, Newcastle, NE9 7JQ, UK, on Thursday 2nd January 2025 at 6pm, for a Reception Mass.

There will be a Requiem Mass at St. Oswald Church at 10am on Friday 3rd January 2025. This will be followed by cremation at Birtley Crematorium, Windsor Road, Birtley, Chester-le-street, DH3 1PQ, UK.

Fr. Kevin's ashes will be brought to Ireland for a Mass in St. Michael's Catholic Church, St. Michael's Square, Townparks, Ballinasloe, County Galway on Friday 24th January 2025 at 12pm. This will be followed by a burial of his ashes with his parents, Peter & Ethna Cummins, in Creagh Cemetery, Creagh Road, Townparks, Ballinasloe, County Galway.

The funeral mass will provisionally take place, depending on the weather situation regarding Storm Éowyn on Friday 24 of January. We ask that anyone planning on attending pay attention to government weather warnings in relation to safe travel.
