The death has occurred of
Fr Leo Staples
Staples, Fr Leo SPS, (St Patrick’s Missionary Society, Kiltegan, Co Wicklow and formerly of Wygram Place, Wexford, Dioceses Eldoret and Kitale (Kenya), August 22, 2022, (suddenly) in the Care Unit at St Patrick’s, Kiltegan. Predeceased by his sisters Sr Pauline (St Joseph of Cluny) and Eva (Hendrick), by his brothers Michael, Fr Frank and Fr Bob, by his sister-in-law Nuala and by his brother-in-law Ted Hendrick. Sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, his relatives and friends, by the people of West Pokot (Kenya) and by his Society family.
Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Chapel, Kiltegan, at 12 noon on Sunday, August 28, followed by burial in the Society Cemetery. The Mass will be live-streamed on https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-missionary-society
Memorial Mass for Fr Leo on Sunday, the 4th of September, at 10.30am in Piercestown Church, Co Wexford
