Fr. Patrick (Paddy) SPS Byrne

Byrne, Fr Patrick (Paddy) SPS, (St Patrick’s Missionary Society, Kiltegan, Co Wicklow and formerly of Burgage, Blessington, Co Wicklow,  Diocese of Chikwawa  and Archdiocese of Lilongwe (Malawi) and Johannesburg (South Africa), January  23, 2022 at Burgage (suddenly). Predeceased by his sister Kathy (Tyrrell), his brothers Jimmy, John, Tom and Dick, his sisters-in-law Joan and Monica, his brothers-in-law Odie Tyrrell, Sean Fitzsimons, Bill Murphy and John Geoghegan. Sadly missed by his sisters Nan Fitzsimons, Sr Greta (Bethlehem),  Maura Brennan, Betty Byrne, Phyllis Murphy, Bridie O’Hanrahan, Bernie Kearns, Teresa Geoghegan,  his sisters-in-law Annie and Joan, his brothers-in-law Billy Brennan, Brendan Byrne, Jimmy O’Hanrahan and Michael Kearns, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, friends, Archbishop George Desmond Tambala of Lilongwe and his Society family.

Reposing in Clarkes Funeral Home, Burgage More, Blessington, W91 YN79 on Thursday, January 27th, from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Removal on Friday 28th to the Church of Our Lady, Blessington, arriving for 12.00 pm Requiem Mass followed by burial in St Patrick’s Missionary Society’s Cemetery, Kiltegan.
