Fr. Raymond (Ray) O'Shea

On Monday, 8th February, Fr. Raymond (Ray) died peacefully in the kind and loving care of medical staff in Cardiff University College Hospital in his 84 th year.  Beloved only son of the late Dr. Raymond and Molloy O’Shea.  Pre deceased also by his sister Kathleen McCabe (Montreal), Mary Molloy (Salthill), and recently pre-deceased by his sister Rita Ledwith (Limerick).  Raymond will be sadly and lovingly missed by his sister Claire Fitzgerald (Salthill), nephews,  nieces, many cousins and friends in Ireland and Wales.

Removal to St Bridget's, 3 Parish Church, Crystal Glen, Cardiff has taken place as well as Requiem Mass, on Thursday, 4th March, at 11.30am, followed by cremation.

A Memorial Mass in celebration of his life will take place at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill, on Saturday, 11th September, 2021 at 11 a.m.  and following Mass, Fr. Ray will be laid to rest with his parents in the new cemetery, Bohermore.
