The death has occurred of
Fr. Samuel Holmes
The Death has taken place after a long illness (peacefully) in St Vincent's Hospital Dublin of Fr Samuel Holmes, recently retired parish priest of Cloone and Aughavas, Co Letrim.
His remains will be reposing from his home Drumnahoagh Letterkenny from 7pm this evening. Removal from there on Thursday evening at 6.50 pm going to St Columba's Church, Drumoghill for 7.30 pm to repose overnight.
Requiem Mass at 12 noon Friday with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Deeply regretted by his brothers Patrick and Hugh, sisters Kathleen (Coll), Bridget (Harvey) and Monica (Gorman), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, cousins, friends and Bishop Francis Duffy and priests of the Diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnoise.
May he rest in Peace.
