The death has occurred of
Fr Thomas (Tommy) Gillooly
Gillooly, Fr Thomas (Tommy) SPS, (St Patrick’s Missionary Society, Kiltegan, Co Wicklow and formerly of Mount Cashel, Co Roscommon, Diocese of Minna (Nigeria), Lagos (Nigeria), Diocese of Lodwar (Kenya), Diocese of Torit (South Sudan), Nakuru (Kenya) and Knock (Co Mayo)), July 19, 2022, peacefully in the Care Unit at St Patrick’s, Kiltegan. Predeceased by his brothers Fr Peter SPS and John and by his brother-in-law Jimmy Rooney. Sadly missed by his sisters Anne Rooney (Killucan) and Margaret Leyden (USA), his brother Fr Dominick (Sligo) sister-in-law Carmel (Mount Cashel) and brother-in-law Michael Leyden, his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, his relatives and friends and by his Society family.
Funeral Mass in St Patrick’s Chapel, Kiltegan, on Thursday, July 21 at 12 noon followed by burial in the Society Cemetery. The Mass will be live-streamed on https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-missionary-society
