BOWEN (Ballinoe, White’s Cross, Cork) On 11th March 2026, peacefully, in the presence of her loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff in the AMDU Unit, Cork University Hospital, FRANCES (nee Keenan), beloved wife of the late Joe and much loved mother of Noel, Assumpta (Whelton) and Stephen.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, her cherished grandchildren Aoife, Ciara, Kate and Daniel, son-in-law Thomas, daughters-in-law Linda and Jenifer, Aoife’s husband Mike, Ciara’s partner Richard, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Friday (13th March) from 10.00am, family in attendance at 5.00pm, with Rosary at 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday (14th March) at 10.00am in The North Cathedral. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Marymount Hospice or CUH Charity.

Loved beyond words, missed beyond measure.
