The death has occurred of
Frances Butler
(née Browne)
Butler, Frances (née Browne) (Palmerstown, Dublin and formerly of Lalmanirhat, Bangladesh and The Halfway House, in between Newtonstewart and Omagh) January 19th, 2026 peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Maryfield Nursing Home, Chapelizod. Beloved wife of Stephen and much loved mother of Mark and Susan, mother-in-law to Gordon and adored Granny to Tristan, Cassie and Sebastian. Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughter, sisters Mary and Anne, brother Peter, grandchildren, son-in-law, relatives and many wonderful friends. The family would like to extend particular thanks to the many wonderful and devoted friends particularly Margaret, Grace, Mary, Paula and Felicity, the staff of Maryfield Nursing Home and Dovida Senior Care, particularly Suzanne and Kezia, who showed Frances such loving care always and in her final years.
May she rest in peace
A service to celebrate Frances’ life will be held on Thursday morning at 11am in Cunningham's Funeral Home, Ardclough Road, Celbridge.
A private burial for family and close friends will be held in Woodbrook Natural Burial Ground, Killanne, Co. Wexford on Friday morning at 11am.
