The death has occurred of
Frances Byrne
(née Hulbert)
Frances Carmel Byrne, Athy, Co. Kildare and formerly Dublin, Kill, Brownstown and Drogheda passed away peacefully on 13th April 2026 in the care of the staff of St. Anne’s Ward, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Athy surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Christopher, son David and brother Paddy. Frances will be sadly missed by her son and daughters, Bill, Geraldine and Colette, grandchildren, Anthony, Dean (RIP), Andrew, Michelle, Tahlia, Clarke, Ryan, Andrew, Lucy, Gary (Hannah) and Kate (James) great grandchildren Kaiden and Grace and all her great grandchildren, son and daughter-in-law, Jackie and Anthony, sisters Emy, Maura, Betty and Helen, brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank (RIP), Noel (RIP) and Séan, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
Frances will repose at Thompson Funeral Home, Athy (R14 NX80) on Thursday 16th April from 5pm to conclusion of the prayers at 7pm. Removal from Thompson’s Funeral Home Friday 17th April to St. Bridget’s Church, Kildare Town for Funeral Mass at 11am. Followed by burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Suncroft.
