(née Hanley)

Frances Kilcoyne (Née Hanley), Barnacor, Lanesboro, Co. Longford formally of Corrigeen, passed away peacefully on the 25th of February 2026 surrounded by her loving family after a short illness in the care of the compassionate staff in the Mater Hospital Dublin.

 

Predeceased by her parents Edward and Mary, brothers Ned, Mike, Paddy, Gerry, sisters Mary, Margaret and great grandson Fionn.

 

Profoundly missed by her heartbroken husband Patrick, devoted mother to her cherished children David, Theresa (Collins), Sharon (Dowd), Johnny, Caroline (Oates) and Lynda. Daughters-in-Law Ursula and Karilie, Sons-in-law Noel, David and Liam, her treasured grandchildren Catríona (Gilroy), David, Aaron, Lee, Luke, Stephen, Rachel, Myah, Krish, Harry, Dylan, Seán, Abbie, Conor, Owen, Chloe, Aliannah and her great granddaughter Ríadh. Deeply missed and remembered by her sisters Kathy and Annie, her brothers Jimmy, and Johnny, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Farrell’s Funeral Home, Rathcline Road, Lanesboro, Co. Longford, (N39 E761) on Friday the 27th of February from 4pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday the 28th of February at 12pm in St. Mary’s Church Lanesboro (N39 TN99) followed by burial in Clonbonny Cemetery (N39 TN93).
