FRANCES NEILAN

NEILAN Frances. Fort Lorenzo, Salthill, Galway and late of Knocklawrence, Gort, Co. Galway. Peacefully at her home on the 28th of September 2022, surrounded by her loving family and very special friends.  

Pre-deceased by her beloved brother Gerry and sister-in-law Janet Neilan (Nee Hynes).

Lovingly remembered, Frances will be very sadly missed by her loving parents Thomas and Maureen Neilan, sisters Martina and Catherine, brothers Patrick and Shane, sister-in-law Helen and brothers-in-law. Fondly remembered by her very precious nephews, nieces, nieces-in-law, grandniece and grandnephew, cousins, relatives, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

The funeral will take place in line with current government guidelines and restrictions.

Frances will lie in repose at St. Joseph’s Church, Presentation Road, Galway (H91 YA30) on Sunday evening October 2nd from 6pm until 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Monday October 3rd at 11am.                  Livestream Link for Mass: https://www.mcnmedia.tv/Camera/st-josephs-church-galway  .                                                                                      Requiem Mass will be followed by a private cremation service at Shannon Crematorium. Family flowers only by request, donations if desired can be made to The Galway Hospice Foundation. House private at all times please.

The family wish to thank all who cared for Frances during her illness especially the wonderful staff of the Galway Hospice Foundation, the Hospice Homecare team, Irish Cancer Society,  H.S.E, Prof. Macon Keane and all his team at the Galway Clinic. A final thanks to all of our fantastic neighbours and friends for all the care and love they have given to Frances always.
