The death has occurred of
Frances O'Riordan
(née McCarthy)
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Frances O'Riordan (née McCarthy),
Castlegarr, Bowling Green, Mallow and formerly of Ballybunion, Co. Kerry and Carrig, Mallow, who passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her loving family on August 21st 2025 at Tralee General Hospital, loving partner and best friend of Mick O'Riordan, dear mother of Dervala, Jessica, Andrea, Darragh and Courtney and their father Joe.
Predeceased by her parents Tim and Patsy and sister-in-law Eileen McCarthy.
Sadly missed by her loving partner, family, sisters Ann and Bernie, brothers Joe and Pa, grandchildren Luke, Noah, Lexi, Michaela, Eva, Callum, Ryan, Ian, Emma, Alfie, Liam and Jacob, extended family Joe, Kieran, Lorraine, Sarah and Darren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends in both Mallow and Ballybunion.

Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Monday (August 25th) from 5.30pm with Prayers at 7pm followed by Removal to St. Mary's Church, Mallow.
Requiem Mass on Tuesday (August 26th) at 2pm which may be viewed on
Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait's Cemetery, Mallow.
Frances' family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the High Dependency Unit of Tralee General Hospital for the outstanding care they gave their mother.
