Frances Redmond
(née O'Rourke)

Frances Redmond (née O’Rourke) (Kilcross, Sandyford and formerly of Carnew, Co. Wicklow) – December 3rd, 2025. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Noel Redmond and much-loved mother of James, Noel, Emma and Pierce.

Sadly missed and remembered by all her loving family, daughters-in-law Wendy and Carol, Pierce’s partner Annie and Emma’s partner David, her adored grandchildren Grace, Liam, Poppy, Theo, Noah, Mia, Luca and Callie, brother, sister-in-law, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May she Rest in Peace

Frances will repose at her home on Friday evening (Dec 6th) from 4pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning (Dec 7th) to St. Mary’s Church, Sandyford Village arriving for 10am Mass, followed thereafter to Glencullen Cemetery.

Family Flowers only please

We are so grateful for the time we got to spend by our mum's side and the support and kindness shown to us all by the SVUH staff. They really did their best, with what resources they had. To honour our mum, we would like to help other families in SVUH going through this with their loved ones. With this in mind, we would appreciate that instead of flowers, that you would make a small donation to the Palliative Care Service in SVUH for the purchase of Palliative care armchair-beds to enable families to rest while going through such difficult times. Many thanks to you all for your support and kindness from the Redmond Family.
