FRANCES SHEEHAN
(née Collins)
SHEEHAN (née Collins) (Main Street, Goleen and Corrydorrigan, Schull): On August 3, 2020 peacefully in the presence of her family and in the tender and loving care of staff of Deerpark House, FRANCES, darling and devoted wife of P.J. (Paddy former T.D). Loving mother of Diarmuid, Deirdre, Eucharia (O’Mahony) and Maebh (O’Connor), mother-in-law of Gerard and Tom, grandmother of Caragh May, Gearóid, Ciarán, Ellen and the late baby Mícheál. Predeceased by her sisters Kitty (Newman), Eily (Cooper), and Theresa O’Driscoll. Sadly, missed by her loving family, nephew, nieces, relatives along with Deirdre’s friend Joseph and a large circle of friends.

In keeping with current Government Guidelines on public gatherings, Frances' funeral will take place privately. Frances' funeral cortège will pass through Schull at 12.30pm approx. on Wednesday, August 5, for her Requiem Mass in Church of Our Lady, Star of the Sea and St Patrick, Goleen, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to Cork Simon Community.
