McAteer, Francie, 238 Lower Mount Marian, Milford, Co. Donegal, F92 E8W3, October 8th, 2025, peacefully in Letterkenny University Hospital. Loving father of Mary, Philomena, Margaret, Kathleen, Gabriel and John. Deeply regretted by his family, grandchildren Darragh and David Power, Bronagh, Niall and Aoibhin Mc Ateer, Oisin and Eoin Meadows, son-in-law John, sisters Bridie Boyle, Kathleen Ward and Margaret Keeney, sister-in-law Sheila McAteer, brother-in-law Colm Sweeney, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his wife Sophie, brothers Paddy, Gerard and Jimmy, sisters May, Nora, Agnes and Eithne.

Reposing at his home today, Wednesday October 8th from 6pm until 10pm and tomorrow, Thursday October 9th from 12 noon until 10pm. Requiem mass on Friday October 10th at 11am in St Peter’s Church, Milford. Burial afterwards in Milford Cemetery.
