Francis Daniel Irwin (Frank) Higgins,

peacefully in the loving care of the staff of the Benbulben Rehabilitation Unit, Saint John’s Community Hospital, Sligo. Predeceased by his beloved wife Hilda, sisters Elma and Myra and brother John. Cherished father of Zeda and Elma. He will be sadly missed by his daughters, grandchildren Brian and his wife Alison, Jennifer and her husband Adrian, Gillian and her husband Trevor, Sam and his wife Lauren and Daniel, great-grandchildren Ella, Alex, Jack, Mia, Drew, Kate and Hannah, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his home at “Adruna”, Maugheraboy Road, Sligo on Friday, January 19th, from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday, January 20th, to Saint John’s Cathedral, John Street, Sligo at 1:30pm arriving for Funeral Service at 2pm. Burial will follow in Sligo Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to the Benbulben Rehabilitation Unit, Saint John’s Community Hospital via www.feehilys.ie/pay
