The death has occurred of
Francis (Francie) O' Connell
O’ Connell (Ballyvolane, Cork), on August 8th 2025, peacefully at home; Francis (Francie), beloved husband of the late Chrissie, much loved father of Hilary, Enda, Donnacha, Cathal and the late Finola, devoted grandfather of Cillian, Conall, Odhrán, Rían, Darragh, Eoghan, Finola and Janek and father-in-law to Jim, Suzanne and Milena. Sadly missed by his heartbroken daughters, sons, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother Brian, sisters Margaret, Phyllis and Colette, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends, especially Michael O’ Flynn and Michael Morgan.
Visitation at O’ Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Sunday August 10th from 4.00pm to 5.00pm, with prayers at 4.45pm. Requiem Mass in St. Oliver’s Church, Ballyvolane on Tuesday August 12th at 10.00am. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
