Francis (Frank) Horgan

The death has taken place of Francis (Frank) Horgan, peacefully in the wonderful care of Mallow General Hospital, surrounded by his devoted wife and family. Frank, formerly of Dairygold Mallow and President of Doneraile GAA, beloved husband of Monica (née O'Connell), adored father of Stephen, Mary (Slattery), the late Damien, Colman, John, Aoife, Therese (Enright) and Fiona (O'Regan).

Pre-deceased by his brothers Sean, Tim and sister Bridie.

Sadly missed by his loving wife and children, brother Stephen, sisters Anna and Kathleen, cousin Eamonn, sons-in-law Tom, David, Patrick and Adrian, daughters-in-law Eilish, Valerie and Sinead, cherished grandchildren Adam, Darren, Megan, Ben, Leah, Grace, Max, Ava, Ruby, Honor, Jack, Bobby, Dara, Joe and Fiadh, sisters-in-law Bridie, Pat and Myra, brothers-in-law Denis and Jack, niece's and nephew's, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May Frank Rest In Peace

Lying in repose at Stack's Funeral Home, Doneraile (P51 Y821) on Tuesday the 2nd of July 2024 from 6pm to 8pm followed by prayers. Reception into the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Doneraile on Wednesday 3rd of July for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Oldcourt cemetery, Doneraile. The mass will be live streamed on www.doneraileparish.ie

The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care, kindness and attention given to Frank by all his doctors including Dr. John Kiely, Dr. Ahmed and their team, Dr. Aidan Kelleher, nurses, including Doneraile Public Health Nurse Elmarie Fitzpatrick, the staff of Mallow General Hospital, a team of wonderful carers who looked after Frank so lovingly and diligently and whose tireless efforts made it possible for him to be cared for in his home in his final years. We will be forever grateful to you all.
