Frank began his career with Coillte (Department of Forestry) as a House Master and Lecturer at Shelton Abbey. He went on to serve in those posts at Avondale House and Forest Park and the impact of his 20-year stewardship of Avondale is still vibrant and visible to those who visit today.

As Frank bequeathed his remains to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday 22 November 2024 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Donabate village. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Samaritans at Samaritans.org/Ireland/Donate-Ireland/
