The death has occurred of Francis (Frankie) Mulvihill, Tarmon Manor, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle, Co. Roscommon (formerly of RTÉ) - 7th March 2026, peacefully after a brief illness. He is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Evelyn and his brother Aidan. Frankie will be sadly missed by his loving family, brothers Charlie and Noel, sisters Mary, Angela (Holohan), Bernie (O’Callaghan), and Carmel (O’Connor), brothers-in-law Jim and Tony, sisters-in-law Fiona and Eileen, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing in Gaynor's Funeral Home, The Square, Castlerea (F45 HH24) on Tuesday evening from 5 pm to 7.00 pm, followed by Prayers and reception into St. Patrick's Church, Castlerea. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am, followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
