Francis King (Mac an Ríogh)

The death has occurred of Francis Mac an Ríogh (Francis Joe an tSaor) of Ard East, Carna, Co. Galway, on the 25th February 2024 in his 91st year, in the kind and loving care of Teach Altranais Carna. Predeceased by his beloved wife Peggy, son Joe, parents Joe and Pen, brother Joe, son in law Séan and daughter in law Geraldine. Survived by his sons Eamon, Jimmy, Kieran, daughters Maureen and Úna, son in law Joe, daughters in law Teresa, Kathy and Maebh, by his sister Máire Tuohy (Craughwell), brother Eamon (Clifden),sister in law Maureen (Dublin), by his cherished grandchildren Síobhán, Áine, Paraic, Seán, Mary, Mairéad, Sarah, Aisling, Molly, Grace, Kate and Danielle, and their spouses Christina and Patricia, great-grandchildren Isal, Mairtin and Seán Patrick, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Mylotte's Funeral Home, Carna (H91 D2NK) on Tuesday evening, 27th February 2024, from 5 o'clock, with removal to Seipéal Mhuire Carna, at 7 o'clock. Francis family would like to thank most sincerely, Dr Casey, Dr Hooke, District Nurse, Gráinne, Carer Tommy Griffin, and Teach Altranais ,Carna for the care given to Francis throughout his stay.
