Francis McCarron

Francis McCarron, Aughadreena, Redhills, Co. Cavan, 13th May 2025, in his 94th year, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of The Mater Private Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his father Frank and mother Katie, brothers John, Packie, TJ, twin brother Philip, nieces Sinéad and Kay. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife of 63 years, Rita, sons Noel (Jacqui), Kevin (Kathleen), daughters Louise (Martin), Olive (Olivier) and Yvonne (Anne), sisters Eithne O’Reilly (Thomastown) and Kathleen Dunne (Perth), brother Brian (Mullalougher) and his beloved grandchildren, Paul (Grace), Rachael, Gabriel and Keira, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he Rest in Peace and live long in our memories.

Reposing at his home in Aughadreena, Redhills, (H14 Y132) on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm and again on Friday from 4pm to 8pm. Removal from his home to arrive at St Brigid's Church, Killoughter, Redhills (H14 V104) for Requiem Mass on Saturday at 1pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
