Ard Daire, Ferrybank, Waterford and late of the A Company 35th Battalion of the Irish Defence forces

Who died on Monday 18th November 2024.

Aged 82 years.

peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at University Hospital Waterford, Predeceased by his parents Charles and Kathleen, brothers George and Maurice, sister Kathleen and his 1st wife Nuala.

Paul will be sadly missed by his wife Christine, his children Niamh, David, Philip, Tony, Dermot and Helena, Niamh's fiance Ross, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers Andy, Charlie, Gabriel and Jimmy, sisters Mary and Ann, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Proudly remembered as an IUNVA member and one of the last remaining members of the Jadotville encounter in the Congo peacekeeping mission 1961

MAY PAUL REST IN PEACE

Paul will be reposing in Power's Funeral Home, Ferrybank on Wednesday, 20th November, from 5pm followed by removal at 6.30pm to The Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank, Paul's Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday, 21st November, at 10am after which Paul will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
