The death has occurred of
Frank B. Shannon
Frank B. Shannon, Railway Road, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan and formerly Glangevlin, Co. Cavan in his 82nd year at Lisdarn, Cavan, 28th February 2025. Surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his loving wife Mary, parents Susan and John, brother Michael and sister Philomena.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, sons Pearse (Patricia), Emmett (Annmarie), Conor (Helena), Davitt (Ornaith), daughter Rosaleen (David Lang). Devoted granddad to Claire, Ben, Kian, Jack, Lauren, Niamh, Lucy Mae, Ruby Rose, Eloise and Saorla. Survived by sister Mary Ann (New Jersey), nieces, nephews, relatives and wide circle of friends.
Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Lawlors funeral home Ernehill, Belturbet, (eircode H14 R583) on Saturday evening from 5pm until removal at 7pm to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Glangevlin for 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Sunday morning at 11.30am with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
The family would like to say a sincere thanks to the staff of Cavan General hospital, Dr Wilham and palliative care team of St. Josephs Lisdarn.
