Frank Bird

The death has occurred of Frank Bird, Rathneestin, Tallanstown, Co. Louth, peacefully at The Louth County Hospital, Dundalk, Saturday 10th February 2024. Predeceased by his wife Olive, parents Patrick and Imelda, and his brother Gerard. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, much loved father of Leon, Karen, Tanya and Norman, dear brother of Seamus, Rosemarie, Mary, Oliver, Martina, John, Audrey and Raymond, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren Darragh, Shauna, Saoirse, Conor, Evan, Caoimhe, Aoife and Oisín, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence (Rathneestin - A91 XN53) on Tuesday from 12 noon until 9pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 11.30am to St. Malachy's Church, Reaghstown A92 F720 arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Reaghstown Cemetery.

House Private on Wednesday morning to immediate family only.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to Oncology Unit, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, c/o of any family member or Deery’s Funeral Directors, Carrickmacross.

To ease the flow of traffic, please approach Frank’s home from the Spring Hill Cross and exit via Knockabbey.

From Tallanstown Village take the L5198 Road and turn right at Spring Hill Cross. Funeral signs marks the route.
