Frank Cooney, Westfield, Kilkenny and formerly of Gort, Co. Galway.
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at St. Columba’s Hospital, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny on Monday, 13th April 2026.
Pre-deceased, recently by his loving wife Maureen and his parents Colie and Mary.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing family, his loving son and daughter, son-in-law, brother Gerard, sister Maura, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan, Co. Kilkenny (Eircode R95 Y443) on Wednesday, 15th April from 4pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6pm.
Funeral arriving to St. Colman’s Church, Gort, Co. Galway (Eircode H91 K228), for Requiem Mass on Thursday, 16th April at 12 noon.
Burial will follow afterwards in Gort Cemetery, Galway.
