The death has occurred of
Frank Cronin
On July 12th 2023, peacefully in the loving care of staff at Bantry General Hospital, FRANK beloved husband of Sheila (née Murphy), dear father of Michael, P.J., Mary-Edel (O’Mahony), Mairéad (Keegan) and Proinsias, son of the late Michael and Mary Cronin, brother of the late Stephen and Patricia (Minehane). Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law James and John, daughters-in-law Mairéad and Marion, grandchildren Mícheál, Stiofán, Orlaith, Aisling, Cillian, Darragh, Seamus, Aidan, Sadhbh, Daniel and Colm, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, the Casey family, kind neighbours and many friends.
The Cronin family would like to thank the staff of Bantry General Hospital for the excellent care given and for the kindness shown to Frank during his stay there.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Coakley's Funeral Home, Chapel St, Bantry, on Friday, July 14th, from 6pm followed by vigil prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, July 15th, at 11.30am at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry (live streamed on bantryparish.ie) followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Friends of Bantry General Hospital.
