McCarthy (Ilen Street, Skibbereen): On June 21st 2024 unexpectedly at his residence. FRANK JOHN, beloved son of Francis and Eileen (nee O’Donovan), much loved brother of Ken and Maria (McCarthy). Greatly missed by his loving parents, brother, sister, nephews and niece Alan, Lauren, Liam and Aidan, uncles Charles, John and Jerry, aunts Breda, Pat, Kitty, Peggy and Noreen, cousins, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Tuesday, June 25th 2024, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm with Prayers at 7.15pm. Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Skibbereen on Wednesday, June 26th 2024, at 12 noon. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation.

Rest In Peace

After Requiem Mass, Frank’s Funeral Cortege will leave St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Skibbereen proceeding via North Street, Market Street, Townshend Street, Bridge Street, Ilen Street and onwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen.
