Frank Mc Swiggan

Frank McSwiggan, Gortnasillagh, Glenties, Co Donegal. On Sunday 12th April 2026, peacefully in Galway University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

 

Predeceased by his parents, John & Mary Kate, sisters, Mary and Nora and brother-in-law Tony.

 

Frank will be sadly missed by his wife Rose, daughter Michelle (Pauric), son Francis (Kiera), his five beautiful grandchildren Cára, Ava, Darragh, Emily and Shane. Brothers, Jimmy (Maura) & John, sister Annette, nephews & neice , neighbours and many friends.

 

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

 

Frank’s remains will repose at Shovlins Funeral Home, Sandfield, Ardara F94 A250 on Tuesday 14th April 2026, from 3pm to 8pm.

 

On Wednesday, Frank will rest in his family home. House STRICTLY PRIVATE PLEASE for family members, close family friends and neighbours.

 

Funeral mass, Thursday 16th April 2026, at 11am in St. Connells Church, Glenties with burial afterwards in local cemetery.

Croí provided Frank’s family with accommodation in Galway, which enabled them to comfortably be with him during his final days.
