Frank Murphy

MURPHY (Model Farm Road, Cork): On March 7th, 2025, peacefully, after a short illness surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at Norwood Grange Care Home. FRANK (Late of Frank V. Murphy Auctioneers, South Mall), dearly beloved husband of Joan (née Scannell), much loved dad of Frank, Sue (Kelleher), Stephen and Laura (O’Gara), adored grandad of Kate, Luke, Jack, Amy, Ali, Ava and Honor, dear brother of the late Mary (O’Herlihy).

 

Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and family, daughter-in-law Sinéad, sons-in-law Martin and Fergal, nephew, nieces, extended family and friends.

 

Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Monday (March 10th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Tuesday (March 11th) in St. Joseph’s S.M.A Church, Wilton which can be viewed

Funeral afterwards to St. Oliver’s Cemetery, Model Farm Road.
