Franko Lillis

It is with extreme sadness we announce the passing of Franko Lillis, Churchtown, Cooraclare, on September 5th 2025 surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at the Galway Clinic. Beloved husband of Orla, father to Ronan, Katie and Chloe and son of Kathleen. Predeceased by his father Paddy, sister Teresa and father-in-law Tony Roche.

Franko will be forever missed by his brother Tom and sisters Mary, Catherine, Pauline, Christina and Geraldine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, mother-in-law June, wider family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his home in Churchtown, Cooraclare V15 EK66 from 5pm to 8pm on Monday 8th September. Funeral mass at 11am at St Senan’s Church, Cooraclare on Tuesday 9th September. Burial afterwards at Kilmacduane Cemetery.
