It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Fr Bill Leahy, Kilcredan, Ballymacoda, who died peacefully on 16 November 2025 in the diocese of Savannah, USA.
Fr Bill was predeceased by his parents, Johanna and John Leahy and his brother John. Fr Bill is deeply mourned by his sister Sr Margaret Leahy SMG, his sister-in-law, Mary, nieces and nephews, relatives and his wide circle of friends both from Ballymacoda and the parishes he served in the Savannah diocese.
May his gentle soul rest in peace. Amen.
Holy Mass will be celebrated for the happy repose of his soul in St Peter in Chain’s Church, Ballymacoda, P25 E780 on Saturday 22 November 2025 at 10.15am.
