Fr.Eamonn Corkery

Fr. Eamonn Corkery , Aughnacliffe , Co.Longford . 17th December 2024 , peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Our Lady’s Manor Nursing Home. Parish Priest Emeritus of Dromard and former Curate in Mohill and Ferbane .

Pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Catherine , sisters Lily-mae , Molly , Sr.Annette , Celine and Veronica and by his brothers Fr.John , Patrick , Simon , Aidan and Michael.

Fr. Eamonn will be lovingly remembered by his family , sisters Philomena (Gerety) and Angela (Shanley) , brothers Nelius and Oliver , sisters-in-law , brother-in-law , nieces , nephews , Bishop Paul Connell , his brother priests and religious of the Diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnoise , relatives and friends.

Requiescat in pace

Fr. Eamonn will repose at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Thursday 19th December from, 2.30pm until 4.30pm ,followed by removal to St.Mary’s Church , Legga to arrive for evening prayers at 5.30pm . Requiem Mass on Friday 20th December at 12 noon . interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard .
