The death has occurred of
Fred Calnan
Calnan, Maryville, Ballintemple, Cork and formerly of Newtown, Rosscarbery, County Cork, on March 6th 2025. Unexpectedly at home surrounded by his wife and family; Fred, in his 98th year, beloved husband of Pat (Barry) much loved father of Fred, Tony, David, Ann, John and Elizabeth and brother of the late Aileen (Kelly), Mary (Moloney) and Nora (O' Malley). Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, sons, daughters, 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Ita, Margaret, Máire and Anne, son-in-law Michael (Horgan), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Visitation at O' Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Monday March 10th from 5.00pm to 6.00pm, with prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass in St. Joseph's S.M.A. Church, Blackrock Road, Cork on Tuesday March 11th at 10.00am, which will be live-streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/smablackrock Funeral afterwards to St. Michael's Cemetery, Blackrock.
