Fred SPILLANE

We are broken-hearted to announce that Fred drifted away peacefully at Blackrock Health surrounded by his loving family on Friday 21st March 2025.

 

Loving husband and best friend of Mary, proud dad of Ross, Leah & Zöe, adored Poppie to Rhys, Jayden, Alex, Freddie & Sadie. Much loved by his son-in-law Gavin, daughter-in-law Jess and her girls, Jamie and Sophie.

Predeceased by his parents Claude and Patricia, siblings Patricia, Timothy and Deirdre. Missed greatly by his brothers Andrew, Christy and Charlie, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and all of his nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He will be sadly missed by his wide circle of friends.

 

 

The family would like to thank Dr Fennelly and his team in Blackrock Health Oncology unit for their kindness, support and exceptional care shown to Fred during his illness. We would also like to thank Mr Robb and his team in Beaumont Hospital, Dr Ruth Moran and her team in Centric Health Bray and Downey’s Pharmacy Bray for all their support.

 

We will say “Au revoir” to Fred on Wednesday, 26th March at 11.30am at a service in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray
